SATEC EM132 is a multifunction power meter and transducer, ideal for a wide range of applications such as industrial power monitoring and for interfacing SCADA in utility substations.

The EM132 can be fitted with a wide range of communication interfaces and I/O extensions, making it a cost-effective combination of a power meter, smart transducer and PLC controller. It is designed for DIN-rail mounting, equipped with built-in communication ports, digital I/Os and anti-tamper enclosures.

Description

SATEC EM132 is a Smart Multi-Function Power Meter and Transducer, ideal for a wide range of applications such as revenue metering, industrial power monitoring and for interfacing SCADA in utility substations.

Based on SATEC PM13X family functionality, this version is designed as DIN-rail mount, equipped with a built-in communication port, LCD display and antitamper enclosures.

The EM132 accurately measures over 100 parameters from basic frequency, voltages and currents, to all power parameters, 4 quadrant active, reactive and apparent energies.

The EM132 provides the full functionality of the PM130P PLUS combined with energy measurement and battery backup for the real time clock. It also fully compatible with all PM130 PLUS modules.

The EM132 has an integral RS-485 communication port for a wide range of protocols—Modbus, DNP 3.0 and IEC 60870. Its expansion port allows connection of a second communication port, including Ethernet, Profibus, RF or GPRS, as well as second RS-485 and RS-232 ports.

The unique field installable add-on feature allows adding digital and analog I/Os. When using the 4 analog output add-on, the EM132 can replace 4 analog 4-20mA transducers. Each one can be freely programmed to any parameter and scaling.
